An Image of His Majestyby *moyan

chinese calligraphy and ink painting on rice paper.

the chinese character at the bottom left corner is the title of this painting: 霸王倒影，an Image of His majesty, followed by the date i did this painting according to the chinese lunar calendar.

on the right hand side that is my alias, moyan, and my signature seal.

it is inspired by ~xxxsulaxxx's photo of white tiger:

by #dALinkSystem, please look at "white tiger portrait" by ~emmawood

it is really not easy to find good traditional paintings of tiger and this is an exceptional one.

This piece really is amazing! Painting isn't very easy, and looks terrible if you mess up and then cover it, I think you did an excellent job on this and extracting the way the tiger looks, and the reflection is golden! The waves look amazing, the details to it's face is very intricate and looks really great! I think you did a perfect replication of the image you found, and hope that the artist is VERY pleased with your work. Just a lovely piece all together. So keep up the good work! Will be looking forward to looking at more of your arts!

This is very adorable. I wish I could do this I really wish I could. The Tiger's reflection id really good and the tiger its self is very cute. I asume this is water color because it doesn't look very thick so yeah. It would be nice to see alittle more on what the background is but other wise this is amazing ^^
Also the writng on the sides of the paint, its neat. I hard its hard to write like that without messing up. Well its nice to see you have a interesting in nature, its very good and realist. I hope you had painting this ^^
