i was trying to finish Leonardo da Vinci's sketch by the same title, the original picture is here. used caran dache soluble water color pencil as usual, a combination of wet and dry method in attempt to achieve some matt finish so as to cover the grain of the paper (sand-colored canson CA grain 180 gsm) *edited 16052006: replace with a better shot of the drawing under warmer natural light. |
