This is beautiful and touching--I like how you kept the background simple so that it doesn't distract from the figures, and the fog emphasizes the serious and somber feeling generated by the knight's expression and pose. The warm tone of the background keeps the piece from feeling ominous, giving it a soft kind of optimism or hopefulness. The detail in the knight and the horse are also fantastic. Beautiful overall!
