here's my take on a visualization of the autumn he saw and the japanese rendition of his haiku:
七竈満ちる無言の鴉哉nana kamado michiru mugon no karasu kananana kamado
is literally "seventh stove". this species of ash wood is said to be able to stayed unburnt even after the seventh time inserted under a stove.
